    The Channel Launched

The Channel is a online community and safe place for a diverse congregation that welcomes all to the United Methodist Church. Those who have been hurt by past policies the church had, are welcome and encouraged to visit. The community meets online and utilizes Mighty Network as a private and supportive social network. The purpose of this site is to communicate the premise behind The Channel, the people Christy Holden helps, and the ministries supported by The Channel. This project was delivered on May 20th, 2024 and came with a custom Altimeter WordPress theme, graphic editing, training, consulting, hosting, and a promotional video which was created collaboratively.

  • Figma Update to Interface

    Figma Update to Interface

This usually happens and it causes me anxiety. Whenever people play with layouts I use, it slows me down and more friction = slow graphic production. But this is not that, and Figma can do no wrong – still an excellent alternative to Inkscape or Adobe. The top panel was move below and now floats on top of the canvas. The side panels also float, which are also collapsible to allow for more canvas viewing. Apart from that, I can’t go too much farther as I’m working on a logo and need to keep going. Speed is part of the equation, after all.

    Digital Advertising

Marketing and sales will always be an essential part of business and gives your company the ability to communicate to your audience. With digital marketing and advertising, that concept is amplified and is not constricted to hurdles like magazines or newspaper subscriptions. The reach for (properly executed) modern marketing can make a massive difference in both your customer base and sales. It can also be a drain on resources and funds for your company if you’re not careful – sometimes the ROI is not as high as the investment, but does it serve a purpose beyond driving traffic and sales? Are you running an event to build a user base? Are you trying to raise awareness for a cause you support or a partnership you’ve cultivated?
