Fast

Most themes should be fast and that was the aim for this project also. In fact, this site loads faster than Microsoft's site.

Open

Altimeter sets up a fantastic foundation for front-end (or back-end and full-stack) developers. Like other fantastic software, Altimeter is too good to sell, so it's open source.

Clean

Out of the box, the templates are layed out with bootstrap. You'll find most of the work at the end of style.css.

Gutenberg

Gutenberg was intended to open web design for everyone. In my experience, a lot of people don't want to go down that path. The patience for using even the simplest of systems (link Gutenberg) just isn't there.
